Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Imprintsy website at imprintsy.com and the products we sell. By placing an order or using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. About us
Imprintsy is a custom print-on-demand store based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. References to "we", "us", or "our" in these Terms mean Imprintsy. We are registered for GST in Australia. ABN: 93 659 260 253
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order, or have the consent of a parent or guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.
3. Orders and acceptance
- An order placed through the site is an offer to buy the items specified, subject to acceptance by us.
- We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion — for example, if we believe the order is fraudulent, the design infringes someone else's rights, or the product is unavailable.
- An order is confirmed once we send you an order confirmation email. Until then, no contract has been formed.
- Once we begin production, your order generally cannot be changed or cancelled. Contact us within 24 hours if you spot a problem.
4. Pricing and payment
- All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
- Shipping costs (where charged) are calculated at checkout.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- We make every effort to keep prices accurate, but if a pricing error appears we may correct or cancel the affected order and refund any payment in full.
5. Custom designs and your responsibilities
Because every order is custom-printed from artwork you upload, please make sure of the following before placing an order:
- You own the rights to the image, photo, logo, or text you upload, or you have permission from the rights holder to reproduce it.
- You take responsibility for proofing your design — including spelling, image quality, sizing, and the position shown in the on-site preview. We print exactly what you upload.
- You agree not to upload anything that:
- infringes copyright, trademarks, or any other intellectual property right — for example a design built around a recognisable branded logo or a copyrighted character (such as a Pokémon, Disney, or sports-team character or logo) that you don't hold the rights to. Taking the photo yourself doesn't grant rights to a protected character or brand that is the subject of it. Incidental or background appearances in an ordinary personal photo (for example a branded item on a shelf behind the real subject) are fine — it's reproducing the protected work as the focus of the design that we can't print;
- sexualises, exploits, or depicts a minor in any way;
- depicts non-consensual sexual conduct, or is otherwise obscene or unlawful in Australia or in the country where the product is made;
- promotes hatred or violence against people based on race, ethnicity, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics;
- harasses, bullies, defames, or threatens a specific individual;
- promotes self-harm or terrorism, or supports a terrorist organisation;
- discloses another person's private or sensitive information without their consent;
- spreads misinformation that could reasonably harm public health or safety.
Beyond the restrictions above, we don't impose blanket limits on the subject matter of your artwork. Personal photos, original art, humour, and mature or suggestive themes are all welcome, as long as they are lawful and involve consenting adults. We do, however, reserve the right to review and — at our discretion — decline any explicit or mature design before it goes to print, and we'll let you know if we do.
By uploading a design, you grant Imprintsy a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to reproduce that design (and to authorise reproduction) solely for the purpose of producing and shipping your order. We don't claim ownership of your artwork beyond that.
Automated content screening
To help us apply this policy consistently, we use automated AI-powered systems to screen uploaded designs. This screening process:
- Analyses your design image using Claude Vision API (operated by Anthropic) to identify possible breaches of the content policy above, and to surface explicit or mature material for a person to review.
- Flags designs for a member of our team to review before anything is printed — the AI never rejects an order on its own.
- Is subject to our Privacy Policy (see section on third-party service providers).
If your design is flagged, we review it before printing. If we can't print a design, we'll let you know with an explanation and give you the option to upload a replacement design or receive a full refund. You're welcome to contact us to discuss or appeal any decision.
We may also refuse or cancel any order whose artwork we or our systems reasonably believe breaches these conditions. In that case, we'll refund the order in full.
6. Production and delivery
- Production typically takes 2–6 business days depending on the product, after which orders ship via tracked post.
- Estimated delivery dates shown on the site are estimates, not guarantees. Carrier delays do happen.
- Risk of loss passes to you when the parcel is handed to the carrier. Where a parcel is lost in transit, we'll work with you and the carrier to resolve it (see our Refund Policy).
7. Returns and refunds
Custom-printed items can't be resold, so we don't accept returns for change of mind, sizing mistakes, or wrong product/colour selected. We do replace or refund items that arrive damaged, defective, or significantly different from your design preview. Full details are in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Our intellectual property
The Imprintsy name, logo, website design, photography, copy, and product mockups are the property of Imprintsy and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them commercially without written permission.
9. Reviews and user content
You can submit product reviews. By doing so you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to display the review on our site and marketing channels (we may include your first name and city). We may decline or remove reviews that are off-topic, abusive, or appear to be fake.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Subject to the ACL, the site and our products are provided "as is". We don't guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or our products.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Imprintsy against any third-party claims, damages, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from artwork you upload — for example, a claim that your design infringes someone else's copyright or trademark.
13. Privacy
Our handling of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which you should read alongside these Terms.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Queensland (or the Federal Court of Australia where applicable), unless mandatory law in your country of residence says otherwise.
16. Disputes and complaints
If you have a complaint or dispute about an order or our service, please email us at hello@imprintsy.com with details. We'll aim to resolve your complaint within 10 business days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), depending on the nature of your complaint.
